The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts is currently seeking a Licensing and Sales Assistant. The position is full-time and requires working out of the Foundation’s NoHo, NYC office at least three days per week. As the Licensing and Sales Assistant, you will report directly to the Director of Licensing, Marketing, and Sales. You will play an important role within a collaborative team to support existing and new opportunities through administrative duties, research, and delivery of content from an extensive digital archive you will help maintain.
The Licensing and Sales Assistant will be responsible for:
- Research and delivery of content to licensees from a variety of digital and analogue sources
- Research, maintenance, and updating of databases for licensing and sales
- Writing brief descriptions for works of art offered for sale
- Creating, maintaining, and updating licensing decks including licensee lists, brand overview deck,
and custom pitches in coordination with the Director of Licensing, Marketing, and Sales - Assist Director of Licensing, Marketing, and Sales with administrative duties including travel
accommodations, scheduling, and expense reporting - Additional duties, as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: The Foundation is seeking a self-motivated, personable individual with robust communication skills and a strong work ethic to support and enhance the work of the licensing and sales team. A bachelor’s degree with a relevant focus of study or at least four years of experience in licensing is required as is a working knowledge of databases, MS Office, Google Workspace, and Photoshop. Candidates must exhibit excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications: The Foundation prefers candidates who have a strong interest in and working knowledge of contemporary art generally, and the life and work of Andy Warhol specifically. An understanding of fashion, design, marketing, and popular culture of the 1960s-1980s is helpful.
Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000, based on experience and skills with excellent benefits
