Human Resources is an artist-run organization housed in a former movie theater in the city’s Chinatown. Founded in 2010, it presents exhibitions, events, screenings and workshops with an emphasis on conceptual and performance-based practices. Human Resources is an essential venue for the creation and presentation of new works that are not easily categorized, many of which are collaborations between performance and visual artists.

Warhol acquires the first of several compact 35 mm cameras, and over the next 11 years shot approximately 130,000 black-and-white images, claiming that “having a few rolls of film to develop gives me a good reason to get up in the morning.”
