Organized in 1988, the Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition is a non-profit organization that supports contemporary artists across the state by connecting them to exhibition opportunities, mentoring relationships and robust networks of artists and arts professionals. OVAC promotes public interest and understanding in the visual arts, helping position Oklahoma as a regional hub of creativity in the national arts scene.

Warhol acquires the first of several compact 35 mm cameras, and over the next 11 years shot approximately 130,000 black-and-white images, claiming that “having a few rolls of film to develop gives me a good reason to get up in the morning.”
