Founded in 2016, Blank Forms is a Brooklyn-based publishing, performance and exhibition platform that brings visibility to underrepresented artists working with sound, performance and other time-based media. Notable for the cross-generational, international roster of artists it works with, Blank Forms specializes in research-driven projects, often collaborating with more senior artists on their archives and legacy-building and using this experience to inform its work with artists at an earlier point in their careers. A bi-annual journal includes rare and unpublished primary documents relating to its research, newly commissioned essays and interviews, and other writing that complements its exhibition and performance series.
