Locust Projects is an arts incubator producing and presenting exhibitions, programs and projects. Championing risk-taking and experimentation by local, national, and international artists at all career stages, the organization recently moved to a new location that doubled the its footprint to 8,000 square feet. The new space enables more projects, gatherings, and studio spaces for artists, and houses a dedicated woodshop, production studios and a soon-to-open Digital Innovation Lab. As Miami’s longest running alternative art space, Locust Projects strengthens the vital role art and artists play in the city not only by showcasing innovative artwork but also by providing professional development opportunities and access to pro bono legal services.
