Grand (re) Opening of Moscow Contemporary (MosCo), Oct. 18, 2024, in the Palouse Place Mall. L to R: Megan Mack, Ed Director, Roger Rowley, Executive Director, Stafanie Ramirez, Boad Member.

Founded in 2021, Moscow Cotemporary (MosCo) was born of the vital need for a contemporary art venue following the pandemic closure of the University of Idaho’s Prichard Art Gallery. Through exhibitions, programming, and an extensive arts education and outreach strategy, MosCo fosters free artistic expression, enhanced cultural understanding, and the open exchange of ideas. The organization offers a platform for current, emerging, and future artists to freely express their creativity and engage with the contemporary art scene.

The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts Announces Spring 2025 Grant Recipients

9 July 2025

“The Foundation’s commitment to supporting artists by funding the institutions that incubate, encourage, exhibit and critically engage their work is unwavering. Non-profit arts organizations face profound challenges due to the political, economic, social and cultural upheavals of our current moment.  At the same time, and more than ever, artists need the supportive community and creative encouragement that these organizations provide.”
