Over the course of its 40-year history, Art Papers has evolved to reflect the changes in the vibrant art community in Atlanta. By structuring both its published and in-person programs around broad themes, it creates deep and sustained conversations around issues of pressing concern to contemporary artists and critics today. From its home base in Atlanta, GA, Art Papers produces a quarterly print publication, a dynamic lecture series, and a content-rich website that connect Atlanta artists and writers to the global art world. It hosts a dozen lectures and public forums, commission artworks by over thirty artists, and publish eight issues of its esteemed magazine. It has expanded its international reach with essays and artworks commissioned especially for its website
