The Boston Public Art Triennial, formerly known as Now + There, is a public art organization dedicated to supporting artists and communities in presenting bold contemporary public art that opens minds, conversations, and spaces.

Its inaugural exhibition, Triennial 2025: The Exchange, takes place throughout 21 outdoor spaces and publicly accessible sites across Boston. This landmark city-wide exhibition showcases new, bold commissions spanning sculpture, installation, and performance by international, national, and local artists. The theme, The Exchange, is rooted in the belief that powerful art emerges from meaningful dialogue and strategically pairs artists with local experts, from climate scientists to historians, public health workers to civic organizers, to explore complex societal challenges through shared creative inquiry. It encourages an exchange between audiences and art and a conversation across nine diverse neighborhoods.

The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts Announces Its Spring 2024 Grantees

27 June 2024

“The Warhol Foundation aims to support the full range of artistic activity in America—from exhibitions at major museums to neighborhood projects by artist collectives. Arts writers, through the range and specialization of their individual interests, touch upon all of this activity—illuminating and interrogating it and bringing it into conversation with the public. Support for artists is not complete without support for the circulation and serious consideration of their ideas. The Arts Writers Grant program keeps artists at the center of cultural dialogue and debate—in our opinion, right where they belong.”
