Located in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago, DePaul Art Museum (DPAM) cultivates meaningful relationships with local, national, and international artists, bringing them into conversation with one another. In particular, the Latinx initiative, led by art historian and curator Ionit Behar, connects Latinx artists in Chicago with those from the global South. By fostering dialogues between regional and international communities, DPAM’s exhibitions and programs resonate across diverse groups and contribute to wider conversations in contemporary art.
