Diskette///Rosette is a solo exhibition by multi-disciplinary artist Camila Galaz. The exhibition will run July 25 – October 23, 2026 and feature works developed around the artist’s research into early computer advertising. Efforts to humanize the new machines included a series of IBM commercials in the 1980s featuring Charlie Chaplin’s Little Tramp character comically interacting with computers; these always ended with an image of a red rose, bringing a human touch to the otherwise alienating scene. The exhibition will include video, paintings, a dedicated website, and publication.
