Residency Unlimited (RU) supports the creation, presentation, and dissemination of contemporary art through its unique residency program and year-long public programs. RU provides customized residencies for international and local artists and curators in New York City focused on network support, project/production assistance, and public exposure. Working together with residents and partners, RU develops a tailored residency experience that aims to maximize the potential of the residents by supporting and realizing short term projects and helping to advance long term goals. Residents benefit from the creative and logistical support of RU staff, customized weekly studio visits with art professionals, and RU community and public programing.

Over $4 Million in Grants Awarded to 50 Arts Organizations by The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts

10 January 2024

“The Warhol Foundation aims to support the full range of artistic activity in America—from exhibitions at major museums to neighborhood projects by artist collectives. Arts writers, through the range and specialization of their individual interests, touch upon all of this activity—illuminating and interrogating it and bringing it into conversation with the public. Support for artists is not complete without support for the circulation and serious consideration of their ideas. The Arts Writers Grant program keeps artists at the center of cultural dialogue and debate—in our opinion, right where they belong.”
