Formerly known as Philadelphia Photo Arts Center, TILT is a resource center for lens-based artists in Philadelphia, offering residencies, exhibitions, fine art printing, free programs, and youth education to its community. TILT supports contemporary photographers and image makers of every level by fostering a space to learn, network, create, and engage in socially conscious dialogue through exhibitions, fine art printing, free programs, artist residencies, youth education, and classes. As a site for experimentation by artists who use both the physical lens of the camera and the experiential lenses of identity to make work, TILT focuses considerable resources on cultivating the long-term creative capacity of the artists in its programs
