Collective Futures Fund

The Collective Futures Fund is a new initiative directly supporting artists and artist-run activity in the Greater Boston area. The Collective Futures Fund will begin a yearly project grant for collaborative and public artist-run projects in the Greater Boston area, in amounts totaling $2,500–$5,000. These grants will support visual artists creating their own independent platforms, engaging their communities, and experimenting with new possibilities. Applications are open in three categories: Sustaining Practice, New Work/Projects, and Ongoing Platforms. Visual artists, independent curators, and collectives across Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, and Middlesex counties are welcome to apply.  The Collective Futures Fund believes that artists are essential to critically engaging with our past, understanding our present, and imagining our collective futures.

The Regional Re-granting Program is established to recognize and support the movement of independently organized, public-facing, artist-centered activity that animates local and regional art scenes but that lies beyond the reach of traditional funding sources.
